We're looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a busy, community-loved branded rotisserie chicken restaurant where fresh food, great people and high standards are at the heart of everything we do.
This is a high-volume operation with a strong reputation for quality. Every dish is prepared fresh with care, and we're looking for a leader who shares that passion while inspiring their team to deliver consistently outstanding food and service within a small but passionate and ambitious group.
What you'll be doing:
Leading, coaching and developing a motivated kitchen team.
Driving food quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment.
Championing exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.
Managing stock, ordering, GP and kitchen labour effectively via solid integrated sytems.
Creating a positive, people-first culture where everyone can thrive.
Working closely with the management team to deliver an outstanding guest experience every day.
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready for the next step.
Thrives in a high-volume branded or fresh food environment.
Is passionate about fresh food and takes real pride in every plate. Although the venue itself is not largest, over 40% of the weekly revenue is online/platform - so volume, and organisational skills are key.
Has excellent food safety knowledge and never compromises on standards.
Is a natural people leader who enjoys developing teams and creating a positive kitchen culture.
Remains calm under pressure and leads by example.
What's on offer:
£34,000–£36,000 basic salary - Performance-related bonus.
This would be a great venue for a keen and capable Sous chef to grow into a superstar first head chef position, with a developing and strong bond / team culture its long time stability not a short summer stint.

Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
Liverpool: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Min 7 years of culinary experience,
Casual dining - gastro pubs, with fresh food background
Passion for teamwork, development commitment and growth
Licence/Certification:
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness training (required)
Work authorisation:
United Kingdom (required)
