We are looking for a passionate, ambitious Chef de Partie, who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop within a supportive team and be part of a well-run, respected kitchen.
This 1000 acre golf, hotel and lodge location really has something for everyone, its busy, its at pace, but its with care, and with professionalism.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality food for the hotel restaurant diners, weddings, and events, while also having the opportunity to contribute creatively to menus and seasonal specials.
Key Responsibilities
Running and maintaining your kitchen section to a high standard
Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operations
Preparing and delivering dishes for the hotel restaurant, events, and weddings
Contributing ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
Working across different sections of the kitchen to develop your skills
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
Working closely with front of house to ensure a great guest experience

Experience as a Chef de Partie
Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients - invested team training too - rotation of sections for long term progression
A team-first attitude and willingness to be fully invested in the kitchen team
Creativity and enthusiasm for menu input and development
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive, professional approach in a busy environment

Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
York: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) but live in is also an option (charged)
Min 5 years of culinary experience, and at least 1 year, fresh food and volume experience, required.
Passion for teamwork, commitment, strong communication, and growth.
Licence/Certification:
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen Training MIN level 1(required)

Starting £33,000 plus £2000 Tips per Year DOE
