We are seeking a passionate and talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the stunning Hotel & Golf Course on the Scottish Boarders. This is a rare opportunity to take charge of a prestigious and stunning Scottish property, set in 300 acres of grounds, and showcase your creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise.
What you’ll do:
Lead, inspire, and develop the separate kitchen teams.
Support and deliver exceptional menus that highlight Scotland’s best local and seasonal produce, from fine dining to casual bar concepts.
Uphold the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Manage kitchen operations including stock control, budgeting, and compliance with all health & safety requirements.
Collaborate with management to deliver an outstanding guest dining experience.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Head Chef ready to hit the ground running.
A proven track record in high-end hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishments.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills at large teams over 30
Passion for Scottish and seasonal local produce on a refined minimum 2AA rosette background
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
Someone with broad shoulders and modern vision that can handle refined plates, volume offers and knows their way around a PC system too.

Relocation support is offered for non local no permanent live in but a stunning guest cottage is open to relocation for 3 months should you need!
Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
Scottish Boarders: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
** There is no opportunity of permanent live in accommodation for this role, but a relocation guest cottage is available should you need short term only
Experience:
Min 7 years of culinary experience, min 1 years as Head Chef with multi site experience
Fine dining: 1 year (required)
Min 2 rosette experience
Passion for teamwork, commitment and growth,
Licence/Certification:
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness training (required)
Work authorisation:
United Kingdom (required)
