We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our clients team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences at Cheshire's best weddings and events business.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and food as a whole.
As the Head Chef, you will be part of a senior team responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation while fostering a positive team environment.
As an independent business with chefs at the very heart of it, quality, and professionalism is paramount to deliver exceptional produce on time, to a very high standard - reputation is everything.
Duties Include but not limited to;
Supervise and manage kitchen staff alongside the senior management team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations as well as internal guidelines.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills.
Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Ideally in an events setting would be preferred.
Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent team management skills, fostering collaboration among kitchen staff.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
Ability to lead by example, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire the team.
Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This is largely a daytime role, where multitasking, leading your own team and managing your own production ahead of delivering luxury, high quality on time to your wedding guests is not often found in hospitality, and does not come around often - an amazing opportunity!

Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
Cheshire CH3: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Minimum 3 year at head chef/senior chef role.
Minimum 1 year fine dining, events, &/or rosette experience
Ability to lead a team hands on teamwork, commitment and growth, able to see the bigger picture
Licence/Certification:
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness training (required)
Work authorisation:
United Kingdom (required)
Must Have a clean driving license, travel will be involved.
