Owned and lead by former Michelin couple at the highest level offering a more casual dining experience in a stunning environment. We are looking for a accomplished Sous, or keen seasoned CDP to join and bolster the team of 5.

While they are keen to land a passionate cook with the right positive outlook on food with a "can do" attitude, they are more than willing to support, develop and train on all sections in a 3 month rotation, that could be open to progress their career if they plan to stay planted and want to come to work with a willing open mind;
What you'll do
Deliver stunning detailed luxury food at pace and precision in a stunning venue thats at the highest level, pace and organisation will be paramount to deliver and set the guest expectation for the day and the venue!
Ensure food is prepared and served according to company specification with reference to times, temperatures, ingredients and presentations.
Ensure correct portion control and minimum wastage in the handling of raw materials, in order to assist the Head Chef or kitchen supervisor in maintaining and improving the gross profits.
Assist as directed in the preparation and service of food in any section of the kitchen, including supporting the Head Chef from a days off, to supporting side by on a Saturday night.
Clean as you go, before, during and after service to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness standards within the site, including working on pot wash as and when required.
Ensure all duties are completed and handover fully before leaving at the end of your shift.
Make recommendation to improve standards and service within the site.
Work with all other team members and colleagues, create a successful and positive team which benefits the site’s performance, and the working conditions.
Follow the kitchen cleaning schedule.

Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
Cheltenham GL54: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Live in is an opportunity for the right Chef and the right mindset
Experience:
Min 7 years of culinary experience,
Casual & Fine Dining, fresh fish/primal cut butchery experience will be great, but not essential
Passion for teamwork, commitment and growth,
Licence/Certification:
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness training (required)
Work authorisation:

£35,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus TRONC
