**Commis Chef – New Opening Bar & Restaurant – Mayfair, London**

**This is not just another opening. This is *the* opening.**

My client is bringing something different to Mayfair - a bold, transatlantic fine dining bar concept inspired by the energy of NYC, the precision of London, and the ingredient obsession of the world’s best kitchens. Think **Fallow meets Rules**, with a late-night edge, serious firepower, and zero compromise.

And we’re looking for a **Commis Chef** who wants to be part of something people will be talking about.

**The Role**
This is a **hands-on leadership role at the heart of a brand-new kitchen**.

You’ll work side by side with an ambitious team to:

Drive **day-to-day section, prep and hygiene** with intensity and precision
Deliver food that’s **refined, ingredient-led, and unapologetically bold**
Prepare the menu items, salad, garnish, batch and sauces and dessert prep where applicable
Support service — pushing standards, pace, and consistency every single shift

This is your chance to help **build something from the ground up**, not just maintain it.

Open kitchen, serious kit, and a menu that moves with the seasons
Fire-led cooking, premium produce, big flavours, clean execution**
A culture that values **craft, creativity, and proper hospitality**

Who You Are**
You’re not here to coast. You’re here to **push, and learn**.

Experience as a Commis Chef in **high-quality kitchens** but not a deal breaker
Being passion ate, energetic, and curious with precision, persistence with bags of character will drive this
Background in **fine dining, premium casual, or ingredient-led concepts**
Obsessed with **quality, detail, and consistency under pressure**
Passionate about **modern British cooking with global influence**
Calm, driven, and hungry to be part of something special

The chance to be part of a **serious Mayfair opening from day one**
A platform to **create, influence, and grow**
Work with a team that actually cares about food
Competitive salary + progression as the concept grows £16.00p/h incl. tronc / 45hr week aprox
The kind of kitchen you’ll be proud to put on your CV

Why This Role?
