We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our much-loved neighbourhood venue in a suburb of Greater Manchester.
We're all about good food, good people, and creating a place where the community genuinely wants to spend time. Think relaxed, casual dining done really well—quality ingredients, generous hospitality, and a team that enjoys coming to work.
This isn't a role for someone chasing the latest food trend or looking for a stepping stone. We're looking for an experienced, grounded Head Chef who's confident in their craft, enjoys developing, and can see the bigger picture.

What you'll be doing.
Delivering consistently great food, every service.
Developing menus that fit our style—honest, seasonal and approachable.
Managing GP, stock, ordering and labour with confidence.
Creating a positive kitchen culture where standards are high but people enjoy their work.
Working closely with the owners to help drive long-term growth and stability.
We're looking for someone who...
Has solid experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready for the next step.
Is calm, organised and leads by example.
Understands that great kitchens are built on consistency, not chaos.
Is commercially aware and thinks beyond the next service.
Wants to build something, not just run it, with a capable background of cost/COGS management
Values community, teamwork and genuine hospitality.
Hospitality doesn't have to mean living at work.
No super-early mornings.
No late-night finishes.
Closed every Monday.
A sensible rota that gives you a life outside the kitchen.
A supportive ownership team that believes good people stay when they're looked after.

Requirements
Ability to commute/relocate:
Denton: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Min 10 years of culinary experience,
Casual dining - gastro pubs, with fresh food background
Passion for teamwork, development commitment and growth
Licence/Certification:
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
H&S level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness training (required)
Work authorisation:
United Kingdom (required)
